LiqTech to distribute swimming pool water filtration in Middle East

LiqTech International has entered a distribution agreement to bring its Aqua Solution swimming pool water filtration systems to Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

LiqTech International, a company that manufacturers and markets specialized filtration systems, announced that it has expanded the geographic reach of its swimming pool water filtration systems to the Middle East.

LiqTech had entered a new agreement with Barr + Wray for the distribution of its Aqua Solution swimming pool water filtration systems to Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The agreement will help to expand LiqTech's fast-growing swimming pool systems market.

The Aqua Solution is a LiqTech ceramic filter solution for liquids with suspended solids. LiqTech's Aqua Solution integrates a dead-end structural design with membrane technology that is specifically designed for water pre-treatment in reverse osmosis applications, wastewater treatment, and swimming pool and spa water filtration.

LiqTech says that the dead-end design yields more cost-efficient filtration performance compared to other filtration options. Moreover, LiqTech claims that its Aqua Solution reduces the number of membrane elements, pressure vessels, water consumption for backwash, and energy costs by providing high flow rates at very low pressure.
