Funeral services to be held April 22 in Clarendon Hills, Ill.
Kenneth Anthony Schmidt, former executive for Culligan Intl., died on April 8.
Schmidt was born on Aug. 20th, 1937, in Chicago. He married his wife, Melissa, in 1960, and together they had three children: Kevin, Melinda and Tierney. The couple also had six grandchildren.
During his career at Culligan, Schmidt helped shape the water conditioning industry with his multiple patents.
A celebration of his life will be held at Notre Dame Parish in Clarendon Hills, Ill., on April 22, with visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the name of Ken Schmidt to the Notre Dame food pantry.
