Where better for the water industry to meet than on the shores of a beautiful body of water? Representatives of manufacturers, dealerships and more are gathered this week in Lake Tahoe, Nev., for the Water Quality Assn.’s (WQA) Mid-Year Leadership Conference.
The event got off to a great start yesterday with a morning full of task force meetings, with discussions ranging from WQA’s new eco-labeling standards to membership to upcoming events. The afternoon provided a chance to not only support the Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF), but also have some fun: Many conference attendees participated in the annual Benefit Golf Tournament, while others got a tour of the lake on the Tahoe Bleu Wave Cruise. The night was capped with the Welcome Reception, which provided plenty of opportunity for networking.
Today promises a full schedule of meetings that will provide updates on the industry and WQA efforts. Highlights will include the Industrial Section, Dealer Section, Government Relations Committee and WQRF Benefit Reception and Dinner. If Wednesday’s meetings were any indication, today promises another day filled with discussion, ideas and networking.
