HaloPure, Eureka Forbes Provide Access to Drinking Water in Rural India

The companies will provide purifiers and funds to help increase access to drinking water

HaloPure Eureka Forbes Ltd. India Drinking Water

HaloSource has entered into a new partnership with Eureka Forbes. This relationship aims to support CSR projects in India and also contribute to HaloPure water purification product sales for HaloSource.

Eureka Forbes Ltd. (EFL) partnered with HaloSource to offer non-electric storage purifiers at comparatively lower costs to lower classes and small towns in peri-urban India. By 2015, it is estimated that 334 million Indians will lack access to safe drinking water. In order to improve these figures, EFL had in recent years teamed up with nongovernmental organizations such as World Vision or Oxfam to increase access to clean safe water in rural communities and as part of disaster relief efforts.

HaloSource has joined Eureka Forbes to help expand access to clean, safe drinking water by donating a percentage of HaloPure patented water purification bead technology as a percentage of its overall sales volume. This initiative is a win-win for both companies and for the broader community of households in India that benefit from these corporate investments in communities, especially rural communities, that lack access to clean water.
