September is a busy month when it comes to water quality industry events – a few weeks ago we had the Water Quality Assn. Mid-Year Leadership Conference; the Eastern Water Quality Assn.’s (EWQA) 2014 Fall Conference & Trade Show is currently taking place (Sept. 24 to 26), and next week the Pacific Water Quality Assn.’s (PWQA) annual Convention & Trade Show kicks offs on Sept. 30.
Unfortunately I am not able to attend either the EWQA or PWQA events this year (I’ll be heading to WEFTEC.14 next week in New Orleans with WQP’s sister publications, Water & Wastes Digest and Storm Water Solutions) but I have always found regional tradeshows like these to be valuable and worthwhile. The more intimate setting allows for in-depth discussions and networking, and provides a chance to focus on issues and regulations that may be affecting a specific region. They are also great ways to get involved with your regional water quality association.
Will you be attending either the EWQA or PWQA events this month? Let us know in the comments or e-mail us at [email protected].
