Pentair Residential Filtration (PRF), a division of industrial manufacturer Pentair Inc., announced a new appointment to its operations leadership team.

Ricardo Sureda joined the PRF team as operations manager for its Chardon, Ohio, facility, the manufacturing home of the WellMate, Codeline and Structural brands of water system vessels. Sureda will lead daily operations and the planning of production and human resources.

Sureda most recently worked for Rockwell Automation in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, as general manager. Prior to Rockwell Automation, Sureda held the position of general manager, followed by vice president of operations, for Gaymar Industries in Buffalo, N.Y. He also spent ten years in various managerial positions at General Electric. Sureda holds a Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and is currently pursuing his master of business administration degree.

“Today’s economic landscape is forcing all of us to take a good hard look at our current processes,” said Sureda. “To remain competitive, we must challenge the old way of thinking and build efficiencies and customer value into everything we do. I look forward to bringing a fresh perspective to the operations here at Pentair Residential Filtration.”
