Fralix will serve as vice president of food service North American
Icon Technology Systems has appointed Philip Fralix as vice president of food service North American. Fralix has been an active member of the water filtration industry for more than 33 years. He is certified by the Water Quality Association (WQA) as a Master Water Specialist, their highest education level attainable.
Fralix brings commercial, industrial and residential water filtration experience to Icon. His expertise covers a range of water treatment applications, which include: water softening, multi-media filtration, reverse osmosis, hydrogen sulfide, ultra violet, ozone, ultra-filtration, hollow fiber, NANO technology for membrane softening and mixed bed total demineralization. His experience has been gained through years of work in the residential and commercial water softening, OCS, food service, kidney dialysis and industrial printing markets. Fralix’s knowledge of numerous filtration mediums and their applications, and experience in system design, sizing and installation applications, make him the perfect addition to Icon’s growing presence in North America.
Fralix has served in regional, national and international capacities for several major manufacturers, including Atlantic Filter, CUNO, Everpure and Mavea. In addition, he continues to participate in industry association committees with WQA and the Florida Water Quality Association (FWQA). He has served on the FWQA board as past president and is currently serving as legislate director.
By bringing Fralix on to launch its food service division, Icon Technology Systems is expanding its line of NSF-certified drinking water systems and OCS water filtration under the eco3 filtration brand.
