Running Into Familiar Faces

With the doors open Wednesday, the show floor flooded with people. We had a walk of the floor and talked to a lot of great people—some new faces and others familiar. In fact we had visits from two dealers—Mike McGowan and Phil Rhoades Jr.—who were featured in our Faces of the Industry special issue, and we also spoke with Jose Grullon, who was our Dealer of the Month last November. It was great to catch up with them and see how things are going.

Of course we had plenty of other visitors to our booth, as well. Some awesome people also answered questions on video, so look for more from those interviews next week on

Thursday begab early with the 5k event to benefit the Water Quality Research Foundation, and I'll be speaking with Wes Bleed from the Water Quality Assn. about legislation and regulations in 2017. Follow us on twitter @WQPMag for up-to-the-minute updates. I'll be taking over the account today to share what the show is like from my perspective, so check in throughout the day.

See you on the show floor!
