LG Sonic introduced a new sensor head to pair with their MPC-Buoy system for preventing algal blooms. It allows for higher-resolution measurements and is easy to maintain. One system receives 384 data sets a day, resulting in 140,160 data sets each year. The collected data adjusts ultrasonic frequencies to effectively control algae. Customers are able to follow the algae treatment process in MPC-View, a user friendly, web-based software that displays the algae and water quality data.
