Aly Raisman to offer advice, reflect on her journey and provide a peek into her 2016 training routine
Poland Spring Brand 100% natural spring water welcomed two-time Olympic gold-medalist Aly Raisman back from the west coast. Poland Spring and Raisman will be at the American Cup at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., to celebrate her preparations for 2016 with fans. Poland Spring was Raisman’s first New England sponsor after returning from the London Olympics in August 2012.
“This past year has been a whirlwind since capturing gold in London and I’ve loved every minute of it. I have a lot of exciting things coming up, but I have to say that I am excited to get back in the gym this summer and start thinking about 2016,” Raisman said. “Getting back into my routine in the gym will require a lot of hard work. Poland Spring 100% natural spring water has been my water of choice through my years of training and competing, and it’s wonderful to have the brand’s support. Poland Spring shares in my vision to be the best I can be both in and out of the gym.”
Raisman will greet fans at the American Cup, including 20 gymnasts from Brestyan’s American Gymnastics Club, where Raisman trained prior to London. She will provide advice to inspire young gymnasts, including a glimpse into how she will prepare for the 2016 Olympics. Over the next three years, Aly will complete an estimated 9,300 beam routines, 56,000 back handsprings, 280,000 core exercises and will consume more than 469 gal of water.
“We’re so proud of Aly’s accomplishments and enthusiasm,” said Seona Skwara, senior brand activation manager. “She continues to inspire individuals on their own journey to achieve their goals and we are thrilled to see Aly share and talk to her fans about how hard work defines being their best.”
