Taking Off for Lake Tahoe

In less than two weeks, members of the water quality industry will be flocking to the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe in Nevada for the Water Quality Assn.’s Mid-Year Leadership Conference, Sept. 3 to 5. Always a great event for expanding both industry knowledge and connections, this year’s event will be packed with informational and networking opportunities.

The event will kick off on Sept. 3 with an invitation-only board of directors meeting, with the main schedule of events beginning on Sept. 4. After a morning of task force meetings (including eco-labeling, membership recruitment and retention, and more), attendees have the option of two Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF) benefit events: the annual golf tournament, or the Tahoe Bleu Wave Cruise. The day will be capped off by an evening Networking Welcome Reception.

Further meetings are set for Sept. 5, including the Industrial Section, Dealer Section, Government Relations Committee and many more. The conference will go out on a strong note, with the WQRF Benefit Reception and Dinner topping off the evening.

Water Quality Products staff is excited to attend the event this year. Will you be attending? What are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments, or e-mail us at [email protected].

There is just more than one week left to put your best projects in the running for WQP’s 2013 Top Projects awards! Nominate your projects through our online entry form by Aug. 30.
