The UltraGuard ultrafiltration (UF) membrane cartridge delivers purified water with 100% efficiency while providing protection against bacteria, cysts, viruses and turbidity. Unlike reverse osmosis (RO) membranes, the UF membrane does not produce wastewater, nor does it require electricity or additional components.
Convert an existing RO system or upgrade a basic water filtration system to UF with the easy-to-install retrofit kit. The system also is available ready to install.
The system provides 99.9999% bacteria reduction and elimination of colloidal materials, sand, silt and sediment. The double-skinned membrane provides reliability, and the system produces no water waste. It works off standard line pressure, delivering high flow rates with minimal pressure drop. The encapsulated UF membrane element offers easy, mess-free maintenance.
High turbidity systems are available for special applications. The system is Water Quality Assn. certified to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Guide Standard and Protocol for Microbiological Water Purifiers.
