The AdVantEdge Plus drinking water system is a residential water treatment device that treats many common contaminants. The system features solid carbon block filtration to provide the most effective contaminant reduction possible. It also features a digital flowmeter and countdown indicator, which shuts off automatically when 960 gal of water have been treated.
The AdVantEdge Plus treats 57 contaminants at a cost of about 8 cents per gallon. Its green technology design results in no waste stream or water loss.
Common contaminants treated by the AdVantEdge Plus include: arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, cysts ( Giardia , Cryptosporidium and Entamoeba ), lead, mercury and organic compounds. The system also treats water for turbidity.
The specifications for the Plus-As-Pb-PID model are as follows:
