The ProMate EcoMax was independently tested to NSF/ANSI 44 standards to demonstrate over 5,400 grains of hardness reduction per lb of salt.
Not only salt-efficient, the ProMate EcoMax uses less water than standard softeners. In most cases, less than 1.2 gal are used in regeneration per 1,000 grains of hardness reduction on factory settings. The ProMate EcoMax is available with twin alternating technology to maximize its efficiency. High efficiency water softeners are intended for clean water supplies.
