The Water Quality Assn. (WQA) announced that it named Vaneet Gupta its new country manager in India, a position responsible for representing WQA in India and serving as the main client and member contact for WQA in the Indian market. WQA also has named Kyle Whalen new manager for USA business development.
“We are extremely pleased to have Vaneet join our team,” said Sam De Laender, international operations manager for WQA. “We selected Vaneet for this role because of his extensive water and water treatment industry experience as well as his experience in product certification.”
Whalen has served as account representative for WQA for the past four years. “Kyle was selected for this role because of his dedication to the association, technical knowledge and experience with key account management,” said WQA Business Development Director Brian Geegan. “This is a new role at WQA, and Kyle will be responsible for driving growth and recognition in the USA market.”
Gupta holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Harisingh Sagar University in India, as well as an MBA from the Centre for Management Development in India. His responsibilities will include developing new business, conducting audits and serving as the main contact for businesses that want to work with WQA.
“WQA has a rich history of involvement in India, including the development of what is now known as WQIA,” said De Laender, referring to WQA India. “This position confirms our commitment to the Indian market.”
