Water’s Big Week

It’s a busy week in the world of water. WQA Aquatech USA 2014 is in full swing, with the tradeshow and education sessions continuing today and Friday. Feedback on the show so far has been positive, with many companies noting a busy day on the exhibition floor on Tuesday.

It is also Fix a Leak Week, which runs March 17 to 23. Run by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense program, this year’s week is focused on the theme of “Chasing Leaks.” Running races, demonstrations and other community events are taking place across the country throughout the week to raise awareness of how much water can be wasted through leaks.

Capping the week is World Water Day on March 22. This year’s emphasis is on the interconnectedness of energy and water, and the importance of conserving both resources.

Will you be doing anything to commemorate these water events? Let us know in the comments or e-mail us at [email protected].
