Previous chief financial officer to take on role as president, CEO
Water treatment equipment manufacturer Aquion Inc. announced the naming of Calvin T. Stuart as president and CEO. Aquion is the parent company of RainSoft, Erie Water Treatment Controls, ClearWater Tech LLC and ProSystems.
Stuart originally joined Aquion in 2007 as chief financial officer (CFO) and was promoted to chief operating officer about a year ago. Stuart brings more than 20 years of senior management experience to his new role. Prior to Aquion, he served as vice president and CFO of White Hen Pantry and was previously an executive with Motorola Inc.
Earlier this year, the company announced that it had changed its name from AWTP LLC to Aquion Inc. and completed refinancing of the company to better position the company for future growth.
“I am excited to have the privilege of leading such a dynamic management team and our team of dedicated employees into what I believe is a ‘new day’ for Aquion. The global demand for good, clean water has never been stronger and Aquion is poised for significant growth both in North America and in international markets,” Stuart said.
