New facility serves customers in Midwest
Zurn Industries LLC announced the opening of its new service center in the greater Chicago area that serves customers in the Midwest. This is Zurn’s second service center opening in four months.
The 135,000 sq ft facility offers more than 40 shipping and receiving docks on both sides of the building, allowing for rapid order fulfillment and inventory replenishment. Located in Bensenville, Ill., the facility is central to O’Hare International Airport, railway services and major interstate transportation routes.
For those that require same-day jobsite support, the Zurn Chicago Service Center is designed to prioritize walk-in customers. A dedicated will-call service station is operated by customer care associates.
“The Bensenville center enables us to respond to customer demand faster with value-added process capabilities, now and well into the future,” said Robert Skavroneck, director of national service centers for Zurn.
“Zurn is moving forward; we continue to position our products and experts in key regions around the globe to best meet our customer needs,” said Craig Wehr, president of Zurn. “ And Chicago is at the heart of industry with a thriving infrastructure designed to support our ease-of-doing business model to service our Midwest region.”
Zurn celebrated the grand opening of its new Chicago Service Center Aug. 17 with customers, regional partners and associates in a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony.
